We Buy Electrical Panels & Switchboards

Cash for surplus panelboards, switchboards, distribution panels, and busway: Square D I-Line, Eaton Pow-R-Line, GE Spectra, and Siemens P series.

Electrical panelboards and switchboards in storage

Panelboards, switchboards, distribution panels, and busway round out nearly every equipment lot we buy. Square D I-Line and NF/NQ panels, Eaton Pow-R-Line, GE Spectra Series, and Siemens P1-P5 panels all hold strong resale value — especially with their breakers installed and interiors clean.

We buy new surplus panels from cancelled projects (often still in factory cartons), used panels from tenant improvements and demolition, and complete switchboard lineups with main breakers and metering sections.

What makes a panel worth buying?

Interior completeness is everything: main breaker or main lug, branch breakers installed, intact bus fingers, and door/trim hardware. A 42-circuit I-Line with a 600A main and a full complement of breakers is a strong purchase; a gutted can is sheet metal. Photograph the interior with the deadfront removed for the fastest accurate quote.

Busway: the overlooked payday

Feeder and plug-in busway with matching plugs is scarce and expensive new. Demolition contractors routinely scrap busway that we would buy at multiples of scrap price — straight sections, elbows, tees, and especially bus plugs with breakers. Count the pieces, photograph the ratings labels, and send the list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you buy panels with breakers included?
Yes — and we pay more that way. Loaded interiors are worth substantially more than stripped cans plus loose breakers sold separately.
Do you buy new-in-box panels from cancelled jobs?
Yes. Factory-sealed panels and switchboards from cancelled or changed projects bring the highest percentage of original cost.
Is old busway worth anything?
Yes, especially with plugs. Complete runs of I-Line II or Pow-R-Way with bus plugs regularly surprise sellers with their value.
